CITIES ON FIRE – Beats from a Struggle tells a story about the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon. But more than story-telling, the entire project seeks to console those who are suffering, speak truth to power, call for meaningful dialogue and peaceful resolution of the crisis, and pray for the dead.

The Anglophone Crisis escalated at the close of 2016, and since then, many people have died in the conflict, many homes burned down; communities have disintegrated and families are in crisis. This project was born in this context, yet it has songs that will will last for ever. It ultimately calls for the fires to be put out from burning the cities. The main track broadens the cities on fire into an African perspective.

The project features Bona Chucks, Commy Keyz, Fara wo Milan. It is multi genre. These songs were produced together with Dijay Kay, who mixed and digitally mastered them in 2019.
